Ibiza has been the clubbing capital of the world for four decades, and the island still packs more world-class venues into 570 square kilometres than anywhere on earth. The season runs roughly from late May to early October, when every big-name DJ on the planet rotates through a handful of superclubs.

1.Hï Ibiza
Built on the site of the legendary Space, Hï Ibiza is regularly voted the world's number-one club and it shows: two enormous rooms, a production budget that outguns everyone, and residencies from the biggest names in electronic music. The Theatre room goes hard and precise, while the Club room is warmer and more melodic.
You'll find it in Playa d'en Bossa, right next to Ushuaïa. Expect immaculate sound, a young international crowd, and queues that make a fast-track ticket or a table well worth it.
2.UNVRS
The island's newest giant, opened on the old Privilege site and billed as the world's first "hyperclub". Cavernous scale, a stacked calendar of A-list residencies, and a production spectacle designed to be the most talked-about room on the island.

3.Pacha

Less brutal than the techno rooms, and more of a proper night out. A rite of passage on any first trip to the island.
4.Amnesia
Two rooms in San Rafael: the glass-roofed Terrace that fills with sunrise, and a Main Room built for pounding techno and trance. Amnesia's foam parties (espuma) are an island institution, and its history runs all the way back to the late 1970s.
Serious about the music, a little rougher round the edges than Pacha, and the terrace at dawn is one of clubbing's great experiences.
5.Ushuaïa
Ibiza's flagship open-air venue: a poolside stage in Playa d'en Bossa where the party runs in daylight and wraps by midnight. Ushuaïa books the biggest mainstream and EDM headliners on the island and turns them into a full festival-scale production under the sun.
Come for the spectacle, the pool, and being home in time for a second club after. VIP daybeds and tables sit right on the action.
6.DC-10
No frills, no dress code, no photos, just one of the most respected underground rooms in the world. DC-10's Monday Circoloco is a pilgrimage for house and techno heads, held in a raw space by the salt flats near the airport.
This is the anti-megaclub: it's about the DJ and the crowd, nothing else. Go early, go for the music.
7.Eden
The heavyweight on the San Antonio side of the island, with a serious sound system and a tech-house-leaning programme. Tickets tend to be gentler on the wallet than the Bossa superclubs, and it's walkable from the West End and the sunset strip.
A strong choice if you're staying in San An or want a big-club night without Playa d'en Bossa prices.
8.Es Paradis
A San Antonio landmark under a white pyramid roof, best known for Fiesta del Agua, the water party where the dancefloor slowly floods around you. Prettier and more theatrical than its neighbours, and a genuinely different night out.
Family-run, decades deep in island history, and unlike anywhere else on Ibiza.
9.Cova Santa
An open-air venue set around a natural cave in the countryside, home to the spellbinding Woomoon and a more bohemian, ceremonial style of party. Lush production, a dress-to-express crowd, and a setting nothing in the club district can match.
For when you want atmosphere and ritual over sheer volume.
10.Destino
Pacha Group's clifftop resort at Cap Martinet, where the parties run from golden hour into the night with the lights of Ibiza Town across the water. More relaxed and scenic than the main clubs, and a favourite for sunset sessions.
